The Johnson Elementary Board of School Directors is comprised of five residents of Johnson elected for two or three year terms.

The School Board normally meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, at 7:00 p.m., in the school library. The public is welcome.

School Policies

The School Board adopts formal school policies covering a wide range of topics. Most policies are based on model policies developed by the Vermont School Boards' Assocation or the Vermont Department of Education.

School Board minutes are posted on the website after being approved by the Board.  Draft minutes of the prior meeting are normally distributed with the agenda for the next meeting.  However, draft minutes are available upon specific request five days after the meeting.  Call Sue Grimes in the office (635-2211 ext. 216) or use the e-mail link above to request specific meeting minutes in draft form prior to the normal distribution date.
